PROJECT NARATION

This project began with the client’s intention to develop a private garden that would require both landscape design and approval from the local authorities. The garden was envisioned as a functional outdoor space for the retired residents, while also accommodating the needs of an extended family.

The design focused on strengthening the boundaries of the property while transforming the garden into a multifunctional space for everyday family activities. It was planned to provide a safe play area for grandchildren, comfortable seating for family gatherings, and a dedicated space for BBQs and outdoor activities during special family occasions.

One of the main challenges was selecting plant species that were both readily available from local nurseries and compliant with the requirements and regulations set by the local authorities. The approval process took approximately two months, during which several design adjustments were made to meet the applicable regulations.

Following the approval process and the finalization of the design, the project proceeded to the construction stage, which was carried out by a landscape contractor selected by the client.
