  • Adaya Villa Complex | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARATION This project is built on limestone land, making the selection of plant species crucial to ensure their survival and optimal growth. Therefore, plants that are resilient to hot weather, require minimal watering, and can withstand salt-laden air were selected. The chosen species include Crinum, Pandanus, Lily, and Pennisetum. In addition, the treatment of plant canopy characteristics became the second main focus in determining planting positions, considering the limited space and the goal of achieving a maximum green visual impact. Bamboo was ultimately selected as a boundary and privacy screen between the villas. Next Previous Adaya Villa Complex Uluwatu - Bali Contact us Jl. Sedap Malam Gg. • Nuredy House | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARRATION This project is a collaboration with the architectural firm Jasa Arsitek Jakarta (JAJ) , designed as a private residence nestled in a serene urban setting. The client envisioned a Balinese-inspired retreat, brought to life through antique frangipani trees, lush greenery, and calming water features. The design concept harmonizes three sensory elements: Visuals : achieved through a curated selection of plants that embody the lush, elegant spirit of Bali. Sounds : created by the gentle flow of water strategically placed at the front, center, and rear of the residence. Airflow : optimized to ensure natural circulation from front to back, enhancing comfort and freshness. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, with plant choices that not only enhance the tropical ambiance but also naturally filter the air, promoting a healthier and more refreshing living environment. • Sasha Private Villa | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARATION This project began with the client’s concern — as they are from Russia — about finding the right plant species for their new home. We started with in-depth discussions to select plant varieties based on their character, leaf shape, and suitability to the surrounding environment. Once an agreement was reached, all plant types — from tall trees and smaller ornamental trees to ground cover plants — were translated into detailed 3D visualizations to help the client easily envision the final outcome. The landscape design embraces a tropical yet elegant concept — intentionally organic and slightly untamed, but still rich in character. The choice of grass was also carefully considered to reflect the look and feel of grasses native to the client’s home country. • G Residence | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARATION Starting from a brief from the client who wanted a Japanese garden concept with a modern touch, this private residence in the Kuta-Bali area embraces an industrial style, inspiring the creation of a Japanese garden with modern-industrial elements. This is reflected in the use of minimalist lights made from exposed materials, along with white sandstone that contrasts with the dark river stones, echoing the home’s dominant white color and black-framed glass windows. The garden features plants that require minimal maintenance, which was key in selecting species, as the residence serves as a retirement home. The initial collaboration with the client led to a final concept after several stages of design revisions, culminating in a Japanese garden with a modern, minimalist-industrial ambiance and easy maintenance. • Lyvin Melasti | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARRATION This project is developed by Lyvin Properties from Russia , located in Bali. Designed as a luxury villa complex with breathtaking views of the southern Bali sea, the estate highlights an exclusive blend of architecture and landscape. The garden embraces a simplicity and contemporary tropical concept , inspired by the collaboration between the lead architect and the landscape architect after a thorough study of the site. With its dramatic limestone terrain, steep contours, and the vision to preserve as many native trees as possible, the design seamlessly integrates with nature. Given the limestone soil and limited water resources, the landscape carefully incorporates drought-tolerant plant species . The rooftop gardens posed a unique challenge-requiring a lightweight approach that would not burden the structure. This led to the innovative solution of planting coastal vegetation in soil-free, lightweight media , ensuring both sustainability and aesthetic excellence. • R House - Uluwatu | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARRATION The villa’s outdoor spaces are being reimagined with a transformation from modern design to a Mediterranean style highlighted by warm terracotta tones. A lush, forest-inspired ambiance surrounds the pool area, creating a serene gateway that leads seamlessly to the guest suites and the rooftop. The rooftop itself is designed as an elevated retreat, featuring a pergola, an outdoor kitchen, and a firepit with breathtaking sea views. Below, medium-to-tall vegetation frames the poolside, enhancing the natural elegance and inviting atmosphere of the entire villa. • Robert Private House | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARRATION The client dreamed of a Japanese-inspired garden- serene, balanced, and timeless-without altering the existing koi pond and mature trees that give the home its soul. The site presented unique challenges: minimal sunlight and poor drainage that caused water stagnation during the rainy season. Instead of seeing limitations, the Taman Luas team embraced these conditions as opportunities. By carefully selecting shade-tolerant plants and crafting an innovative drainage solution, we transformed the space into a garden that thrives year-round. The result is more than just landscaping—it is a living sanctuary that embodies elegance, harmony, and the enduring beauty of nature. Next Previous Robert Private House Contact us Jl. Sedap Malam Gg. • Dude House | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARRATION The Dude House's landscaping is based on a tropical garden concept, with tall palm trees used as barriers from the surrounding area on the garden's sides. To create a fresh and cozy atmosphere on the side of the house, a vertical garden with a variety of plants is designed. Along with the Lee Kwan Yew plant, low-maintenance plants are also positioned on the first floor of the building to soften the building's facade. • Aliyah House | Taman Luas

PROJECT NARRATION According to the environment, in this Aliyah project garden's design adopts the idea of a dry garden. With this idea, the garden will retain its aesthetic appeal while being low-maintenance and able to withstand harsh conditions. Cactus and agave were among the low-water-use plants chosen in this garden. The pathway that leads to the sunken seating area is made of stone and has a water feature in the middle of it. Local materials are used to create the hardscape on this project to keep it in harmony with the environment.
